About the Holland Codes Personality Test

The Job Profiler is based on the Holland Codes Personality Test, formulated in 1985 by U.S. psychologist Dr. John L. Holland.

Based on the finding that "The choice of a vocation is an expression of personality," the Personality Test groups people and work environments into six categories (RIASEC).

The Holland Model matches jobs with work personality environments, or personality types, resulting in the following RIASEC categories:
